J&M Tropical Fish was a pet store.
Adrian worked there, with a woman called Gloria, who might have been the owner or manager of the store. Adrian worked here before her relationship with Rocky. She gave up the job after Rocky's first fight with Apollo, but decided to work there part time in the plot of Rocky II. She also worked in this shop during Rocky V, after the Balboa family had moved back to Philadelphia.
Butkus lived here for a short while before Adrian brought him home as a pet for Rocky.
This is one of the places that Rocky visits on the anniversary of Adrian's death, along with other significant places in and around Philadelphia.
