A guy that used to serve as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, Big Yank Ball turned into a pro boxer and makes an appearance in the news in Rocky III. He was from Bangor, Maine. Big Yank Ball was also one of Rocky's opponents in the intro to Rocky III. Yank Ball was the US Army Champion challenging for Rocky's World belt. Big Yank Ball was played by actor Anderson "Big Yank" Ball in the Rocky III film.^[1]
